This policy explains what information Baklava by Wilma (“we”, “us”) collects when you visit baklavabywilma.com or place an order, how we use it, and the choices you have. Baklava by Wilma is a small family bakery in San Angelo, Texas.
Information we collect
- Order and contact forms. When you use our contact or order forms we receive the details you type in: your name, email address, phone number, shipping name and address, how many dozen you want, any gift message and your comments.
- Online checkout. Payments are handled by Square on Square’s own secure site. We never see or store your card number. Square shares your name, shipping address and order details with us so we can bake and ship your order.
- Comments. If you leave a comment we store your name, email, website and comment text. Comments are checked by the Akismet spam service, and your email may be used to show your Gravatar picture.
- Site statistics. We use Jetpack Stats (by Automattic) to count visits and see which pages are popular. It only runs after you accept analytics cookies.
- Technical data. Like every website, our host (GoDaddy) records basic server information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request, for security and to keep the site running.
How we use your information

- To send our holiday ordering reminder, only if you asked to be on our mailing list
- To keep the website secure and working well
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for targeted advertising.
Who we share it with
We only share information with the services that help us run the website and fill orders: our web host (GoDaddy), Automattic (Jetpack, Akismet and Gravatar), Square (payments) and the shipping carrier that delivers your package. We may also share information if the law requires it.
Cookies
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser. When you first visit, a banner lets you accept, reject or customize cookies. Only necessary cookies are used until you choose.

We don’t sell or share it, but you can still use the Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information link in the cookie banner or the site footer. We also honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal from your browser. To make a request, contact us using the details below. We will not treat you differently for using these rights.
How long we keep information
We keep order and contact details for as long as we need them to fill your order, keep normal business and tax records, and answer follow-up questions. Comments stay on the site until they are removed.
Children
This website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
